THE WINTER MONTHS
So here's a question for you. In the winter, you’ll almost certainly change your wardrobe. So, why should your skincare be any different?
The clocks have gone back and the winter months are here which means your skin is prone to developing dryness. Some TLC will be in order!
The colder months means, we’re all craving hibernation, getting out the winter warmers and the skin drying central heating is on full blast.
So, you’ve finally packed away all your summer clothes and you’ve unpacked that winter wardrobe, along with the woolly scarf and gloves.
Tip #1 - CHANGE YOUR CLEANSER
Change your cleanser to a creamy one which will offer more nourishing ingredients, or try a Cleansing Balm.
Tip #2 - FACIAL SERUM
If you don’t already use one, start using a facial serum. This will sink deep into your pores and add that extra nourish that your skin needs to protect against those cold winter nights. Make sure to use this at night time when your skin does the majority of its regeneration.
Tip #3 - MOISTURISER
Change your moisturiser to a richer and nourishing one and include a nourishing night time cream.
Tip #4 - FACE TREAT
Exfoliate and do a facial mask at least once a week to get rid of those dead skin cells.
Tip #5 - DRINK WATER
Drink plenty of water as central heating is so drying and harsh on our skin.
Don't let winter destroy your skin, with just a few adjustments you can beat the winter blues.
